XVIIIth Mayor Of Edmonton Ambrose Upton Gledstanes Bury, KC was quite a solid citizen. Educated in the United Kingdom as he was born in Ireland, Ambrose earned Bachelor's & Master's Degrees in Arts & taught theology, later showcasing being a leader by being a collegiate school principal. Ambrose also became a lawyer & the Anglican Archdiocese in Athabasca, very noble indeed. Ambrose served 2 terms as an Alderman & was quite an able Mayor as his time in power took place betwixt his 2 stints as MP. He won his Federal Commons seat back from Kenneth Blatchford & became a strong member of Conservative Prime Minister Richard Bedford Bennett's administration. Later on Ambrose became a District Court Judge.
