Dear Jeff:
School bus stop safety is of paramount importance in ensuring that our students get to & from their school safely each day. Good safety tips toward this goal include:
I. Be sure & practice good pedestrian behavior, making sure that students stay on sidewalks as much as possible to lesses the chances of an unexpected pedestrian/vehicle collision by the school.
I2. Make sure to tell students to look both left & right as they come II road openings. Accidents can happen in back alleys just as easily as they can on main streets.
I3. Make sure students don't run around or push their friends at a stop. They might accidentally wind up pushing their fellow student inII traffic by mistake.
I4. Don't go back II a school bus that you left something on. If the driver has II back up, they may not see you running behind the bus II get back on it.
Respect The "Danger Zone",
Rory
