Dear Dave:

We move out west to the State of Washington & have Governor Jay Inslee explain to us what he plans to do about advocating for children. What he's doing about it is appointing a new Family & Children's Ombudsman named Patrick Dowd who it looks like is immensely qualified & Jay is giving Pat the power to actually make a difference for children of a lesser means. The topic area is appropriate considering all the abhorrent thousand + of poor dead children under the previous Progressive Conservative administrations.

"Patrick's knowledge & experience will fit well with the unique role of this office & our continuous improvement efforts to protect children & from maltreatment."
