Dear Dave:
We have Premier Darrell Paloski of the Yukon Territory chatting about his interest in boosting economic activity up in northern Canada & working in tandem with federal & provincial/territorial counterparts on these matters. A pharmacist by trade & education, Darrell is looking at ways to reduce costs of drugs & other consumer goods to his territory, in particular remote areas.
"Two particular projects that are crucial to a strong North are a new large-scale hydro facility to meet long term energy needs, & expanding telecommunications infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted connectivity."
