Dear David:

My extreme congrats must go to the New York Educational Trust & the New York City Board Of Education. Their extemely smart move to team up with Public Television & make a documentary with filmmaker Ken Burns on the United States Woman's Suffragette movement was very adept. Alberta students & students worldwide need to know how bad things used to be for women & how awful it was for them that they couldn't vote. Both in the United States & in Canada it wasn't until roughly the 1920's women would get equal rights. As a man, this truly sickens me (as it should students.) A man should not be considered "better" than a woman just because his is masculine & not feminine. We need more of these programs on the air to show the sickening lack of transparency.

Graciously,

Rory
