March XXVIIth, MMXII

Hon. Thomas Lukaszuk
Minister of Education,
Progressive Conservative Candidate, Edmonton-Castledowns

Dear Thomas:

As you are no longer an MLA until you are reelected, it shows students interested in politics & social studies that fact. The Election Writ as you know was dropped by Premier Alison Redford yesterday when she went to see Lt. Governor Lt. Col. (Ret'd) Donald Ethell at his Legislature Office yesterday. But then you knew that since you were part of the PC photo op by Premier Redford's bus.

Students need to know that IV the period the writ drops until you are sworn in as an MLA again a few days after it ends, you no longer have the right to that title. If you are defeated in Edm.-Castledowns, then of course whatever candidate beats you becomes the MLA-Elect, & then the MLA upon their swearing in into the new Legislature.

All Politics,

Rory
