Dear Jeff:
So a Kindergarten class has banned "God Bless The USA" by multiple Grammy Award (TM) Winner & country music singing sensation, Mr. Lee Greenwood. A Brooklyn, New York Kindergarten teacher said the song including the "proud to be an American" line offends her. I suppose that its her right II do so, but how can a song that teaches students II be proud of their nation & its liberty's & chances IV great opportunities to make their lives better be bad?
The teacher is mad b/c "other cultures" in the class might be offended, people of other faiths than Christianity. Lee Greenwood is Christian, so what, he wrote that song not just IV Christians, but IV people of all faiths & ethnicities to be proud to be associated with what is a very rich American cultural mosaic.
Keep On Fighting Injustice & Political Correctness Gone Wrong Lee,
Rory
