"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mr. Carney

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

September XXIXth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

The soul House member for Delaware, Congressman John Carney gives us the scoop on his ideas for giving students with educational debt a chance to still be able to borrow funds for other things. Helping them get financially back on track will allow them to have monies for other expenses & thus with a clean credit record, they can embark on their chosen careers faster & thus start paying their debts & taxes into the system at a much quicker pace.

"Our bill makes sure that students who take responsibility for their loans are able to get back on track & keep their credit clean. As our economy recovers, we need legislation like The FAIR Act so recent graduates have the chance to buy a home, start a family, & pursue the American dream without the show of bad credit getting in the way."

  1. What are you referring to with the title quote?

    1. The House of Representatives as Abe Lincoln was a 1 term Whig House Member & he gave "A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand" speech. I thought it was clever!
