"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mrs. Kirkpatrick

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

September XXIXth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick of Arizona just like our last entry was also a school teacher. Ann is interested in bringing up the topic of getting grants to native tribes such as the Hopi Tribe in her District as well as in her state. This will guarantee that they have educational resources & literary supports on a more equal basis to those students & their families living in more urban based centres of the state.

"This grant provides an opportunity for the Hopi Tribe to help people with disabilities to develop the skills, confidence & self-sufficiency to more fully participate in their tribal communities."

McNary,

Rory
