"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mr. Thompson

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

November VIIth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Congressman Bennie Thompson of Mississippi chimes in with a commentary on the late talented artist B.B. King who along with being a blues great was born in Mississippi. When a talented artisan or person passes, its only fitting that Bennie issue a statement as B.B. was a teacher to many students of music & a wonderful representative musician of his state in the world of music.

"Mississippi is the birthplace of the Blues & today it has lost one of its favorite sons. B.B. King, born & raised in Indianola, Mississippi, is one of the giants of American music & it is with great sadness that I give my most heartfelt condolences to his family, extended musical family & countless friends."

Bolton,

Rory
