At the world famous Calgary Zoo we have limitless opportunities for students & their families to explore. Plus, the animals are well looked after & thus students get to learn about them in & up close & personal manner. They are well looked after by the attendants & provided wildlife like settings so that they can both grow & nurture themselves & their young!
- The YYC Zoo offers tours for in class, home school, & self-directed learning students. Thus proving they believe in equal education of zoology for all types of inquisitive young minds.
- The YYC Zoo shows visitors about both wildlife & habitat conservation so these wonderful creatures can be respected by all.
- Members of the YYC Zoo get family discounts on admissions, gift shop items, & from other quality Alberta based merchants. A great outreach by the zoo & helpful to many families struggling in these very hard economic times!
