Dear Dave:
I am reminded of that old "Field Of Dreams" adage "the one thing throughout the years that is constant has been baseball!" Of course there are two constants in life & the second is that is that the ever adroit Edmonton Sun Columnist Cam Tait is correct on the "check swing" that there is no place better to spend a summer night for families with children on summer vacation from school than "The Ball Park" at an Edmonton Prospects game.
With the "crack of the bat" & family friendly atmosphere, Mighty Casey At The Bat might just be afraid to Strike Out! From Owner/President Pat Cassidy to Ticket Sales Chief Ryan Jagoe right on down to the team & the bar, lounge & field staffs: the Prospects organization is class all the way!
Its college students eventually wanting to try & get into Major League Baseball (MLB) who are just grateful to play on such an amazing field surface in Edmonton's palatial river valley!
