Dear Dave:
Not only is that little boy who got help when his 5 year old little sister was abducted my new hero of the year, he should be made an Honourary Edmonton Police Service (who investigate crime) officer for life for getting his family to call in the officers so fast. He should get to have lifetime free access for him & his family to play with & hang out with EPS Canine Unit officers & their handlers who give his actions their full apawrroval!
As for the soap opera that is Derek Fildebrandt, MLA, United Airlines Conservative Party, Strathmore-Brooks, lets review (better than episodes of "The Young & The Restless" from CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System) (TM) Television City in Los Angeles, California.)
Day 1: Pocketing the cash differential of $2,555.00 on an apartment that taxpayers pay for (which I don't begrudge him as he is an MLA.) Would have kept the cash if not caught.
Day 2: First Derek dipped, & then he dipped again on double claims of meals. I am glad a Mr. George Costanza of New York City, New York stopped by his constituency office to remind Derek & his staff of this.
Day 3: Allegedly did not report a motor vehicle accident & its been what a year or longer since it happened, allegedly. Seems to me we can save the coast of a byelection by appointing the Edmonton hero boy who saved his sister as the next Strathmore-Brooks MLA when Derek steps down!
Notice how the Alberta Party & Greg Clark, MLA, Calgary-Elbow are leading on this Fildebrandt file & the Alberta Liberals & Dave Khan are completely useless/listless!
