It seems your caucus colleague Premier Rachel Notley called the provincial election writ this morning by going to see Lieutenant-Governor Lois Mitchell at McDougall Centre in Calgary & then announced at the National Music Centre. So a Cowtown start off to the writ. Very educational point to students of politics that the writ can be dropped from anywhere in the province, not just from within the bounds of the city of Edmonton which houses the Alberta Legislature. And the writ is Tuesday, April XVIth, MMXIX.
