Dear Adriana:
What is with the provincial portfolio of Municipal Affairs? It seems to be rather cursed as the Hon. Tracy Allard, MLA, Minister of Municipal Affairs, United Conservative, Grande Prairie is the second person to the hold the office under Hon. Premier Jason Thomas Lukaszuk Kenney, PC, MLA, United Conservative, Calgary-Lougheed. The first of course being the Hon. Kaycee Madu, QC, MLA, United Conservative, Edmonton-Southwest.
And before Rachel Notley, MLA, Leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Official Opposition, New Democratic, Edmonton-Strathcona gets all up in "knotsleys" over this, I remind students of the political realm that the Notley cabinet from MMXV-MMXIX had three Municipal Affairs Ministers. Premier Redford & Premier Stelmach each had two. Even Premier Klein had six, that has to be a very unlucky portfolio.
Kenney not firing The Honourable Honolulu Hoaxster Wonderchild doesn't surprise me. Look at what Hon. Tyler Shandro, MLA, Minister of Health, United Conservative, Calgary-Acadia did in yelling & being nasty to a medical doctor at the doctor's private residence. This was far worse than Tracy having a vaykay at the residence & birth state of her best pal, former US President Barry Obama, Democratic-Illinois. Kenney didn't ditch Ty even though Ty deserved a kick in the derriere out the door to backbencher MLA status.
Obviously, Tracy Allard should never have been brought into Her Majesty's Government & the provincial cabinet in the first place as she wasn't quite ready for "primetime" (but then neither is the current occupant of Room #307, Alberta Legislature Bvilding, The Office of the Premier.)

P.S. II: I noticed how ex cabinet minister Tanya Fir, MLA, United Conservative, Calgary-Peigan is also in on this travel sneakiness. Maybe it why she was ousted to backbencher status. As for Little Brother Jeremy Nixon, MLA, United Conservative, Calgary-Klein, I expect this as its Nixonian, older brother Hon. Jason Nixon, MLA, Minister of Alberta Environment & Parks, United Conservative, Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre taught him rather well!
