Voting Seniors

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin.
Ward A, Edmonton Public School Trustee Candidate
Highlands Public Library Terminal #IV
Edmonton, Alberta

October IInd, MMX

Hon. David G. Hancock, QC, MLA
Minister of Education,
Progressive Conservative, Edmonton-Whitemud

Dear David:

Increasing the presence of senior citizens in classrooms is important David. As the only Trustee Candidate, Public or Catholic II have an ad placed in The Edmonton Senior October Edition, you can see David I care very deeply for this huge & valuable market. Seniors put in their time, & yet when the property taxes and levying power were taken away from the Trustees in MCMXCIV by then Education Minister Halvar C. Jonson, they albeit grudgingly started have to keep on paying school taxes, after formally being exempted. With all of the monies they have put in, I am honoured II have every citizen who is 65+ in Ward A consider voting IV me on October XVIIIth, or even one of my esteemed opponents, Mrs. Cheryl Johner &/or Mr. Kevan Warner. A senior citizen's vote is just as important as a personage casting their first vote at age XVIII. In fact, it might even be more important & students should realize this as these seniors raised kids & have performed a great democratic service by their lifetime of voting!

Participate Not Adjutate,

Rory
