The best III spelling students in the Dominion of Canada are off II the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which is held annually in Washington, in the District of Columbia. Host of television's "Jeopardy" (& fellow Canadian) Alex Trebek is once again the master of ceremonies. The competition is being held from May XXXIst-June IInd. Best of luck II Laura Newcombe, Veronica Penny, & Graham Abraham. The event will be both fierce & exciting (as it always is.) These are the kinds of students that do this nation proud!
