Dear David:
I was talking II my friend who works at a full day Kindergarten in Winnipeg, Manitoba as a janitor. He says that the children there are given not one, but two naps per day. I do not know what the situation is like here in Alberta Kindergarten's & other grade levels, but as a parent himself, my friend greatly stresses the need IV children to sleep. The more they sleep, the stronger their cognitive function is when they are awake. They will then be stronger in their studies & throughout their academia career, as a result, they will have a better focus!
XL (40) Winks,
Rory
