Dear David:
Susan Burke of the Riverbend Playschool has it right in today's Edmonton Journal Letters Page. She defends her playschool (which rents from Riverbend Community League) greatly & points out just how valuable that school is. As well as how important its teachers are. The teachers are trained educators & not just babysitters. They keep the children constantly stimulated with games, books, songs & many other activity's where they can really participate & gain valuable cognition skills. Playing is important, it gives kids a start in life in the beginning stages of their road to academia.
Play & Learn & Laugh & Enjoy,
Rory
