Dear Jeff:

For students wanted to gain confidence in public speaking & vocabulary, its good to come up with topics that suit their audience & that they have a general interest in. In this way, their audience will be enthralled with how excited the speaker is about their chosen topic &/or subject/study area. In a school setting, good topics might include:

Un. The life & times of a famous person, eg.: Napoleon Bonaparte.

Deux. Colour blindness.

Trois. Who will be the contenders for the Presidency Of The United States in MMXVI (2016?)

Quatre. A day in the life of the beluga whale.

Cinq. Why do businesses fail, what factors influence these failures?

"Speak & Be Heard",

Rory
