The Parliamentarians-Costas Menegakis, MP

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

January IInd, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed, M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

In the Festival Of Praise & Remembrance, Costas Menegakis, MP is doing the right thing in encouraging youth & musicians to come in & chat with & thank housebound veterans & other seniors. In this way, the youth are acting as goodwill ambassadors to the older folks & can thank them for their service so they forget their troubles for at least a little while!

"It is exciting that youth are involved in this unique festival. Having youth actively engaged is important so that they may understand & honour the sacrifices that our Veterans have made & continue to carry the torch of remembrance."

Number CXCVII (197),

Rory
