Dear Dave:
Part of crime scene analysis is looking at the facts of a scene, what has actually happened & what may happen before the case is solved before future crimes are committed & the perpetrators are caught or killed. This is what Detective Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department is doing as he is sent to investigate the robbery of a jewelry story in a richer & higher class area of Los Angeles where there is very little crime. When there is, perps are caught in quicker manner b/c the citizenry are even more on the lookout for crime than say a poorer area of the city that has less resources financially. The suspects in this case are thought to be troubled youth that skip school & hang out on the street looking for trouble & who had stolen goods from other shops in the area & now they have escalated to murder. While Det. Friday is appalled & the execution style slaying, even he has to admit that it was impressive how the killers got away so efficiently.
"You had to be good to pull this off!"
You'd Had To Be Good Indeed,
Rory
