October Ist, MMXV
Hon. David Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder
Dear Dave:
Lets not "rush" to judgment but instead listen to Congressman Bobby Rush of Illinois as he imparts his ideas on the matter of being against racism when a young black man named Trayvon Martin was killed. Breaking House rules, Bobby put on a hoodie to show respect for Trayvon's family. He got suspended for doing so because you can't wear hats or head coverings in either of the Houses Of Congress, but his message is correct.
"Racial profiling has to stop Mr. Speaker. Just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum."
Albany, Georgia,
Rory
