Dear Dave:
Standing up for student engagement & getting people interested in their communities again is Congressman Richard Neal of Massachusetts. What with the poor turnout in the Edmonton Ward G byelection I just ran in, as well as in the Calgary-Foothills provincial byelection, Dick's reachout makes common sense.
"The whole notion of linking us together as a community--that we all pull the wagon because we someday may have to ride the wagon--there are so many good parts that can come from that. Its a big booster in public education."
