"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Mrs. Dingell

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

April XXVth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Laying the groundwork for new ideas in Michigan is Congresswoman Deborah Dingell who succeeded her husband John in the seat after he valiantly held it for six decades straight (the last XX years being the "Dean Of Congress" or its longest serving member.) Now with a retiree husband, Debbie is clearly wanting to ensure seniors have dignity & respect. Definitely a point that medical students in gerontology have to take into account.

"Today more than 70 percent of seniors between the ages of 65 & 84 who need hearing aids don't get them. This leads to isolation, depression & some studies have documented early dementia."

Detroit,

Rory
