June C. Koopmans School

April XVIth, MMXVI

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

I strongly & vociferously encourage people to read the Friday, April XVth, MMXVI (April 15th, 2016) editions of either The Spruce Grove Examiner or The Stony Plain Reporter by the very adroit & very lovely journalist, Miss Yasmin Mayne (who is my new hero)! She is a credit to the journalistic trade & I want to thank her personally as well as her newspaper team for taking an interest in my quest to honour my late mother June, a retired school teacher & University Of Alberta Education grad with the "June C. Koopmans School" in her name. Its entitled: "A dutiful son campaigns for his mother."

It makes journalistic sense & is a great family piece about the bond between a mother & her son, which even death cannot separate & we own an acreage in Parkland County where Yasmin's newspapers work out of. I didn't ask for mom to die, but she did die & so having a school in her name would be the greatest thing in the world for her educational legacy! Its less than a month or so until Mother's Day I believe so it really would do our family proud to see this come to fruition!

Anyone wishing to help should write:

Or Email: info@epsb.ca
subject: june c. koopmans school support

Also, read my February XIVth, MMXVI (14th, 2016) piece on this matter written in red text called "Campaigning For Ma" for greater detail on mom's educational journey!

For My Dear Mother's Honour,

Rory
