Dear Dave:
With LXXVIII (78) glorious years of fighting crime in Gotham City & around the world & other universes, I can certainly see why The Caped Crusader is doing so very well in The Lego Batman Movie! But bats themselves are quite interesting creatures.
1. They can eat up to M (1,000) mosquitoes an hour which is great as it cuts into the mosquito bite totals on humans.
2. Bats can live on average at least XL (40) years, which is a long animal lifespan.
3. Giant fox like bats that live in Indonesia have wingspans of over VI (6) feet.

I didn't realize you were a chiroptophile, Rory. Bats are indeed very interesting.
i have read probably 500 issues of detective comics batman and seen other various incarnations, he's fascinating as are bats.
