Dear Dave:

I have been to quite a few National Parks in Canada, the United States, & in The Netherlands & in Europe. However, I have never been to Yellowstone National Park & I hear it is quite majestic in scope.

A. The park was signed into law by XVIIIth U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant, Republican-Illinois on March Ist, MDCCCLXXII (1872.)

B. Native Americans (or First Nations) have lived in the park for at least 11,000 years.

C. Yellowstone is 8,983 kilometres squared or 3,468.4 miles squared.

D. 96% of the park is in Wyoming, 3% in Montana, & 1% in Idaho.
