Dear David:
I understand that Mrs. Yoko Ono-Lennon has the trademark rights ownership over the song "Imagine" by her late husband John Lennon of "The Beatles." But she made Conservative Leader & Prime Minister Stephen J. Harper, PC take it off the Conservative Party of Canada Website. Kudos IV the PM IV respecting copyright infringement laws. However I do not respect Mrs. Ono-Lennon IV only taking this superb version down.
She is setting a bad example IV students as she is clearly playing politics with a video in which the Right Honourable Member IV Calgary-Southwest just because he is Conservative, while her politics are clearly Liberal. There are I am sure thousands of versions (if not millions) of this song tribute to Mr. Lennon. Clearly the PM was just one of those. He should not have had to remove the video.
There is only one choice for the rights of artisans & singers in this election writ & that is Steve Harper & the Conservative Party Of Canada!
Vote Tory On May IInd,
Rory
