We must give the birthday gal her due, after all Afton Elementary School teacher Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed. would have been LXX (70) today. Even her class planned a party IV her as the school year was ending!

-news about school, class awards.

- open birthday presents from students, "Gossip" & even chit chat about different fun birthdays students have gone to.

- watch baseball game between teachers & students.

- challenge between Rm. 1 and Rm. 2

in spelling & arithmetic.

- filmstrips.

- good - bye to Mrs. Hughes who is retiring.

- sing for birthday people.

- clean out desks.

- Awards.

- give out report hugs & graciously accept many birthday hugs & kisses from my students.
