Dear Jeff:
So a 73 year old dad kills his 13 year old daughter in Longueil, Quebec. The Judge gives him only 60 days in jail for manslaughter to be served on weekends. A human life to me is worth a lot more than a paltry 2 months in jail. The dad was upset b/c his daughter didn't clean the house properly & this gives him an excuse to kill her. I mean you can give 25 years to life on a manslaughter charge. I don't care if the Judge has leeway here & the dad was half past dead at 73 & got a light sentence b/c of his age. Put him in a jail cell & throw away the key! What a travesty of justice.
A Student Who Will Never Get To Learn Again,
Rory
