February XIth, MMXVII

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Now the game is played like this. 87 Alberta ridings across, down, or diagonally, & the winner of each game & a majority of the ridings (44 +) receives a mandate to govern & the keys to Room #CCCVII (#307) Legislature Bvilding: The Office of the Premier.

Game Number One offers the split up of the urban & rural seats betwixt the Wildrose & the Progressive Conservatives (PC) whereby the Wildrose don't run competing candidates against rural Progressive Conservative MLAs Richard Starke, MLA, Progressive Conservative, Vermilion-Lloydminster & Wayne Drysdale, MLA, Progressive Conservative, Grande Prairie-Wapiti. With the proviso that Progressive Conservatives don't run competing candidates against Wildrose urban MLAs like Brian Jean, MLA, Wildrose, Fort McMurray-Conklin & Tany Yao, MLA, Wildrose, Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo. Also making sure to adjust for the fact that the New Democratic appointed Electoral Boundaries Commission will of course be "rigging" the ridings to try & ensure a second NDP majority (which is exactly what I would do.)

Game Number Two as always is our "secret square game." The winner of this game is clearly Jason Kenney who if (when) he wins the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta (PC Alberta) should have an off the books handshake agreement for Interim PC Leader Ric McIver, MLA, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Hays to immediately stand down so that he may contest a byelection as soon as possible. Plus Ric will have it all arranged by booted member of the Kenney camp Alan Hallman to make PC Party Prez Katherine O'Neill extra violent!

Game Number Three allows for the fact that elections used to be for up to & including a five year term. If your caucus colleague, Hon. Rachel Notley, MLA, Premier, New Democratic, Edmonton-Strathcona wanted to run a retroactive cabinet order-in-council through, she might be able to push the next writ back to MMXX (2020) & completely derail plans for opposition groups to figure out proper coalescing stratagems.

The Centre Square,

Rory
