Hon. Demetrios Nicolaides, B. A., M. P. S., Ph. D., ECA, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Calgary-Bow

Dear Demetrios:

I am absolutely delighted on this rather sombre CCCLVth (355th) Birthday of the Hudson's Bay Company Limited (TM) that His Majesty's Liberal Government have invited His Majesty to open The Dominion Of Canada's Parliament on May XXVIIth & even more delighted that His Majesty has accepted ever so graciously! What would seem to me a perfect "bookend" for HBC since it's Charter was granted on The Second (IInd) Of May), One-Thousand Six-Hundred & Seventy  (1670/MDCLXX) by King Charles IInd, the store should sell that Charter to The Royal Trust & its sole purseholder, His Majesty King Charles IIIrd. His Majesty can then donate it to a Canadian Museum. I don't have the mechanical/technical expertise to offer up such a proposal to CEIII, but maybe as you are a Ph. D. you could Demetrios?!

"Charles In Charge Of Our Days & Our Nights",

Rory
