Dear Demetrios:

I know voter turnout is lower in byelections, but I cannot help but hope that Edmonton-Strathcona, Edmonton-Ellerslie, & Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills have a higher voter turnout today. If folks don't think that "every vote counts", look no farther than Tatiana August, MP, Liberal, Terrebone. She only won her seat by 1 vote & that was only because a Bloc Quebecois voter had her mail in ballot returned & a tie would have resulted. All thanks to the idiocy of Elections Canada putting the wrong postal code on the return envelope!
