Dear Jeff:

I fully endorse the idea of Rev. William Wade Izzard, youth outreach minister for the Universal Life Church Canada. His idea of having a National Hockey League (NHL) game between the Oilers & Flames IV charity in Red Deer is well thought out & constructive. If it wasn't, why would The Edmonton Journal have printed his idea in their paper on their Letters Page on February IInd?

The idea is plausible as the two teams travel through Red Deer on buses on the way to & from games in eachother's cities. Plus, the Alberta Sports of Hame is located in Red Deer. So youth & student sports programs across the province can be highlighted. It would be a major publicity draw IV the NHL & media outlets that covered it & the teams & on-air sports personalities could donate their time & salaries for the evening to whatever cause is their favorite, say amateur sports equipment programs or the Stollery Children's Hospital as an example. Rev. Izzard is truly forward in his thinking, lets make his dream IV the children come true!

Wade Is Great IV Thinking Of This,

Rory
