As the flood plane situational issues continue down in southern Alberta, I want to show that mom was good at making plans & making students happy while they learned. So lets turn things over once again to Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed. as she enlightens young minds at Afton Elementary School.

Wednesday, June 23rd, 1971:
Writing: "joy", "kind", "lot", "mine", as well as letting students make alternate words from those words such as "jot", "kilt", & "yet."
Reading: tab P. 167, 168; check

Spelling: #34 test ; do #35 orally test.
Story: "Charlie." Chapter 28.
*Gym.: (check Marian's cue cards for exercise activity list which has words above pictures of exercises scheduled.)
Music: tab P. 167, 168, use these reading tabs to incorporate various alternating new words into songs for play.
Language: check arithmetic numbers & equations for plays.
Phonics: do P. 169, 170 ; Oral Reading: "Charlie", Chapters 29, 30.
