The Parliamentarians-Denis Lebel, PC, MP

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin.
#6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

December XIVth, MMXIV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA
Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

For the Hon. Denis Lebel, PC, MP we seem to have an emphasis on toll roads & how their fees will help pay for construction & maintenance costs from the users directly. Champlain Bridge is being built by the federal government with toll revenue & it has support among many groups, including that of students who use it to transverse to get to & from their classes. Its important b/c of the huge fight over whether the Hon. Jim Prentice, QC, MLA, Premier, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Foothills is going to direct the Hon. Robin Campbell, MLA, Minister of Finance & President of the Treasury Board, Progressive Conservative, West Yellowhead to put in tolls inII budgetary legislation.

"When we made the announcement, we said there would also be a toll & transit & that the bridge would be built through a public-private partnership. We are following through on that."

Number CLXVIII (168),

Rory
