Dear Gordon:

An emergency reassignment to be a prison guard at a State Prison in Chico, California for the day due to extreme violence & guard shortages doesn't exactly fill Sergeant Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department with joy. He gets annoyed b/c a prisoner he is guarding who shot VI (6) people to death is complaining about the food in his prison. The Sarge reminds him that he gets III (3) square meals a day at taxpayer expense and a warm place to stay to boot. This of course is a lot better than his victims, III of whom were children who will never get to eat again.

"If it weren't for prison food, you'd starve to death!"
