Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

Having been born under the name Leslie Lynch King & then adopted into a loving home, President Jerry Ford knew about having to start anew. This is why he was a big lover of adopting animal friends himself such as his canine son Liberty (as pictured above), so Liberty could be sworn into the vacant office of First Dog of The United States (albeit right paw raised with his left paw on a bag of Rewoofplican endorsed dog kibbel.) Plus, since he wasn't elected to either the Vice-Presidency or the Presidency, Pres. Ford was in affect being "adopted" by his nation as their Chief Executive to heal the wounds & scandals that came about from the corruption caused by the recently resigned President Richard M. Nixon, Republican-California. As a result of this, the Prez knew that it was right to ask American students & their family's to help him in his job during this stressful time.

"I am acutely aware that you have not elected me by your ballots, so I ask you to confirm me with your prayers."

August IXth, MCMLXXIV (1974)-January XXth, MCMLXXVII (1977),

Rory
