Dear Gordon:
Speaking at the University Of Michigan where he was getting an Honourary Doctorate of Civil Law Degree, President Lyndon Johnson or "LBJ" (a teacher by vocation) knew that for society to be great; all kids who wanted to learn in a student setting needed a decent education.
"A third place to build The Great Society is in the Classroom of America. There your children's lives will be shaped. Our society will not be great until every young mind is set free to scan the farthest reaches of thought & imagination. We are still far from that goal."

Interesting portrayal of Johnson in "Selma," although apparently the relationship between the president and Martin Luther King was less confrontational than the movie suggests.
The film was subpar that was the problem!
