"Will The Senator Yield The Floor?"-Gary Peters

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

July XXIInd, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Bipartisanship is supposed to be a hallmark of being a legislator & newly minted Senator Gary Peters of The Winter Water Wonderland State of Michigan is trying that here by pledging to work with elected representatives of both parties to get proper benefits to America's armed forces veterans & their dependents such as spouses & children. Considering how badly successive Canadian governments (both Liberal & Conservative) have treated Canada's service personnel, the issue is quite relevant.

"I'm committed to working with my colleagues in the Senate from both parties to ensure America is keeping the promises we've made to our service members, veterans & their families."

America's High Five,

Rory

Yesterday, I interviewed Peter Goldring, also an outspoken proponent of fair treatment for veterans.
