With "The Legend Of Tarzan" opening up in sneak preview format tonight in theatres everywhere, we call upon another legend, my late mother, Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed., of Afton Elementary School to dash off one of her classic lesson plans on this the occasion of her LXXIIIrd (73rd) birthday!

Thursday, June 8th, 1972:

Writing: the letter "x" & "x" related words.
Reading:          "New Teacher."

Arithmetic: check Pg. 202; do Pg. 203.
Spelling: #350.
Story: "Why Kittens Land on Feet."


Drama: act out "emergencies" with x words such as "x-ray."
Entertainment: - "Lets Find Out About Bread."
                      - rewriting for girls & boys oral reading needing improvement.
