As with all other states, Ohio has many fine factoids and attributes that will definitely be of interest to students of all ages.

N0. Ohio is the only State to have had its date of entry into the United States ratified by the United States Congress & not state legislators and voters in trying to switch from a territory. The Federal Congress ratified Ohio's entry in MCMLIII (1953.) The Congress stated that Ohio entered or accepted the United States Constitution on March Ist, MDCCCIII (1st, 1803.) The reason this amendment or adjustment had to be ratified by federal legislators is that state legislators had forgotten to include their initial entry date when they joined upon the breakup & creation of Ohio out of the Northern Territory.

O0. The fictional radio show about the workings behind the scenes or the goings on called "WKRP In Cincinnati" was situated in Cincinnati, Ohio & was on the air from 1978-82. Of course it was filmed at television studios in Los Angeles, California. However, some exterior scenes were filmed on location in Cincinnati itself.

P0. The great comedian & current host of "The Price Is Right" on Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) Television, a Mr. Drew Carey was born in Cleveland, Ohio.
