It was truly nice to be outside Government House for the swearing-in & peaceful transfer of power from XIVth Premier Alison Redford, QC, MLA, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow to the new XVth Premier, David G. Hancock, QC, MLA, Progressive Conservative, Edmonton-Whitemud. Students interested in the democratic process & ensuring we have a peaceful transfer of power & command control from one leader to the next should definitely watch this ceremony. While Premier Hancock is only an Interim Premier, he's still in charge until a new full time leader can be worked out.
