Dear Jeff:

Some great news from Sunny Los Angeles, California. Jonathan Guttierez & Karen Duarte, students & graduates who survived an April Xth bus crash were each given $5,000.00 scholarships at their Banning High School graduation in Wilmington. They will use them to go to Humboldt University, the school they were going to on the bus from when the crash happened. You've got to hand it to Los Angeles City Councilman Joe Buscaino & local non-profit group Sharefest IV setting up this wonderful initiative. I cannot think of II more deserving youngsters. They will attend Humboldt in memory of their fellow classmates who perished.
