Dear Jeff:

As stressed bIV in in this blog, the main focus of police officers is teamwork & the most important officers of them all are the beat patrol or "on the street" officers. These ground force squads gather a lot of the information that Sergeant Joe Friday of the Los Angeles Police Department & other administrative higher ups (as well as beat command officers) can use in the solving of crimes. The Sgt. needs help when two of a gang leader's student aides are in denial about being involved in the gang & selling heroin to high school & middle (junior high) school students. Sgt. Friday is commanding a "Special Detail" of beat cops & has an officer with long range photography skills filming as well as taking still pictures of the drug buys. W/o this pictorial evidence, Sgt. Friday would have one hell of a time making the charges stick. The Sarge tells the gang leader's parents who are in denial:

"Both of them have juvenile records, both of them belong to your son's gang."

I & Sgt. Friday Write This Particular Blog Post In Memoriam & In Tribute II The Fallen Moncton, New Brunswick V (5): In Particular The Family's Of The III (3) Dead Officers,

Rory
