"Will The Senator Yield The Floor?"-James Lankford

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

December XIIth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA
Minister of Education,
New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

Newly sworn in this past January XVth, Senator James Lankford of The Native America State of Oklahoma is getting a strong start on the education file. Here the Senator looks at showing respect for public servants who are for the most part quite distinguished in their abilities & yet get slandered as "useless" when its a very small % of civil service employees that cause problems (the exception being City Of Edmonton employees who clearly abuse sick days as discovered by Councilor Mike Nickel.) These words by Senator Lankford will give a confidence boost to students hoping to make government service their vocation, or at least enter it on a short term basis.

"I have a tremendous amount of appreciation for the work of our public employees, especially those in the uniform services. Civil servants & those in uniform alike, dedicate their lives to quietly serving the American people through public policy, public safety & governance. During Public Service Recognition Week we take the time to thank workers across the entire government & offer gratitude for their commitment to our nation."

Okies,

Rory
