Dear David:
I have noticed throughout English literature there are many biblical references, such as in Shakespeare & even in modern plays/themes. So what I would suggest is that kids of all faiths be encouraged to read and analyze the Bible, cover to cover. Not to promote one religion over another, but to strictly improve their diction skills and memory recall. The Bible has a rich vocabulary, in particular The King James Version. So why not take advantage of that & let kids have a shot at improving their oration capabilities & overall abilities to cognizantly think & write out reports?
They could then also learn to read and analyze other religious texts such as the Book of Jehovah, the Book of Mormon & the Qu'ran. As well as many others that have been translated over to English. By increasing their phonetic abilities and overall knowledge of religions, you are opening up their mind and their world to a whole new realm of possibilities. They'll become more tolerant, and more capable of carrying on properly vocalized & intellectualy stimulating conversations.
Enjoy Your Easter Saturday David,
Rory
