Sam Shaw Is In A Tough Position

Hon. David G. Hancock, QC, MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Edmonton-Whitemud

Dear David:

I strongly urge NAIT President Sam Shaw to keep the 13 targeted programs running. As a graduate of Pre-Business, I am a proud NAIT Alumni. I would feel sad II see these programs go. NAIT has gotten rid of many satellite campus buildings lately & expanded the new attachments to its main facility to the detriment of education.

My advice David is that the President expand online availibiity of his course errata's to students who can't afford to attend campus classes in person. While at the same time continuing to offer in class sessions to those who wish to partake in person. Online bonus students would increase revenues overall while lowering overhead costs for in class attendees and administrative supports such as staff & teaching materials.

Sincerely,

Rory
