Dear David:

Here's a slightly unique thought process. Why not shake things up a bit? Have Don Fleming change places with his Catholic counterpart as Chairman for a month. In this way, each Chairman can see how the other committee works & garner ideas on how to improve their own system.

I got the idea from an episode of M*A*S*H. The officers became enlisted men (& women) for about 48 hours and the enlisted men (& women) were given officer rank. This is quite smart as each side gained a new respect for how the other performed his/her respective duties. Then they wound up working better together. I mean why not, if it helps the kids in the end?!
